Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The two sides discussed the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Jordan and means to further strengthen them across various domains in support of the shared interests of the two countries and their people. They also discussed prospects for cooperation and coordination to safeguard regional security and stability and strengthen Arab cooperation at all levels.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the call also addressed regional developments and the repercussions of the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Jordan. Dr. Al Zayani expressed Bahrain's condemnation of the Iranian aggression and reaffirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with Jordan and its measures to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability and protect its citizens and residents.
