New York:Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a meeting with Tone Kajzer, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, at the United Nations Headquarters on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing bilateral cooperation and exploring ways to strengthen and expand ties across various areas to support the shared interests and objectives of both countries.
The discussion also covered regional developments, efforts to promote security and stability, and the impact of disruptions to navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab on energy and food supplies, as well as international trade. Views were exchanged on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaie, Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations, and the Minister's accompanying delegation.
