Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, received copies of the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom via videoconference.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani accepted the credentials of several ambassadors, including Miguel Porto Parga, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, who will reside in Riyadh. Hassan Tamboura, the Ambassador of Burkina Faso, will be based in Kuwait.
The Foreign Minister also received the credentials of Igor Bely, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, residing in Abu Dhabi. Ulrich Frank, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, and Manthabiseng Phohleli, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho, will both reside in Kuwait.
Furthermore, the credentials of Hong Hoi Anh, the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, were also received. He will be residing in Riyadh. Dr. Al Zayani emphasized the strong cooperative relations between Bahrain and these nations and wished the ambassadors success in their roles.
The ambassadors expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to represent their countries in Bahrain and pledged to enhance bilateral cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Salah Mohammed Shehab, Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
