Foreign Minister Receives Supportive Calls Amidst Iranian Missile Attacks

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received telephone calls from Arab and international counterparts who expressed their solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and condemned the Iranian missile attacks on the Kingdom. They also conveyed their wishes for Bahrain's continued security, stability, and peace.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani received calls from Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom; Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco; and Jos© Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain.

The Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation to the ministers for their condemnation of the Iranian missile attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, which targeted a number of sites, including civilian facilities and private property. He valued their expressions of solidarity and their support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security and stability, wishing their countries security, stability, and peace.
