Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a telephone call from Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Canadian foreign minister condemned the Iranian attack targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the unlawful violation of its sovereignty. She expressed Canada's solidarity with the Kingdom and stressed the importance of all parties respecting the terms of the ceasefire agreement and working towards a just and lasting solution to the conflict.
For his part, Dr. Al Zayani expressed his appreciation to Minister Anand for Canada's condemnation of the Iranian attack and its solidarity with Bahrain's measures to defend its sovereignty, security, and people. He commended the bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
