Foreign Minister Participates in 164th Ordinary Session of Arab League Council

Cairo: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the 164th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs. The session was an important gathering of key diplomatic figures from the Arab world.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, UAE Minister of State, chaired the session. The meeting also saw the participation of Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, along with foreign ministers from across the Arab world. The council convened to discuss a range of pressing regional and political issues. Key topics on the agenda included the Palestinian situation, the Gaza conflict, and developments in Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, and Yemen. Broader security, maritime, and humanitarian concerns were also deliberated, alongside economic, social, legal, and administrative matters.

The session concluded with the adoption of a series of resolutions aimed at addressing the various issues that were discussed. These resolutions are expected to guide the Arab League's approach to the challenges faced by the member states and the region as a whole.
