Foreign Minister of Bahrain Meets Outgoing Qatari Ambassador

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Sultan bin Ali Al Khater, the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani praised Ambassador Al Khater for his contributions during his tenure, highlighting his role in strengthening the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Qatar and enhancing cooperation to support shared interests and common goals. Dr. Al Zayani also expressed his best wishes for the ambassador's future endeavors.

Ambassador Al Khater conveyed his gratitude to Dr. Al Zayani and other officials in Bahrain for their support and cooperation, which he said were instrumental to the success of his diplomatic mission. He expressed his pride in the strong relations between the two countries and their peoples, founded on mutual affection, solidarity, and cooperation, and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including Ambassador Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Ambassador Rami Saleh Wreikat Al Adwan, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Bahrain; Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations; Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shehab, Chief of the Protocol Sector; and Ambassador Nawar Abdulla Al Mutawa, Acting Chief of the GCC Affairs Sector.
