Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received retired Air Marshal Martin Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) - Middle East. Dr. Al Zayani expressed appreciation for the efforts undertaken by Sampson and the Institute's executive team in organizing the 2025 Manama Dialogue. He commended the distinguished level of the sessions, themes, and issues addressed, which were widely praised by participants. He also highlighted the close cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IISS, wishing the Institute continued success.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Air Marshal Sampson expressed his appreciation to the minister for the cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Institute, and for the support and facilitation extended by the Ministry and its team, which contributed to the success of the 21st edition of the Manama Dialogue 2025 and its distinguished outcomes. He noted that the forum reflects Bahrain's commitment to strengthening its international partnerships to promote peace, security, and global stability. Sampson expressed his aspiration for further constructive collaboration in research and future forums.
