Foreign Minister holds call with Sudanese counterpart

(BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a telephone call today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, Dr. Mariam al-Sadiq al-Mahdi.

During the call, the two sides affirmed the deep-rooted brotherly relations between both countries and their perpetual growth to meet common interests.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs extended to his Sudanese counterpart congratulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the successful outcomes of the International Conference in Support of Sudan, which convened in Paris, and the decisions made on reducing Sudan’s debt which will boost economic development and strengthen the efforts of the transitional government to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for further growth and prosperity. He wished Sudan continued progress and development.

For her part, the Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirming the pride of the Sudanese government and people in the solid brotherly relations between the two countries, and joint keenness to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve common interests. She wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
