Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Air Vice-Marshal (Ret.) Martin Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) - Middle East. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the IISS in organizing specialized conferences and strategic forums.
According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions also centered around the preparations for the upcoming Manama Dialogue conference, which is set to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in November. The Institute's initiatives to foster dialogue and exchange perspectives on regional and international security and stability were reviewed, aligning with shared objectives to enhance cooperation and understanding in the region.
