Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The meeting was held on the sidelines of the third joint ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the GCC and Central Asian countries, hosted by the State of Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the efforts made by the GCC Secretariat to advance the progress of the Council at all levels, in line with the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC states and the aspirations of citizens for greater cooperation and integration in all domains. They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and their implications for regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Salah Ali Al Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Kuwait; and Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Chief of the Legal Affairs Sector and Acting Chief of the GCC Affairs Sector.
