Foreign Minister Engages in Strategic Talks with American Jewish Committee Official


Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Jason Isaacson, Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer at the American Jewish Committee (AJC), along with his delegation during their visit to Bahrain for the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. The meeting highlighted the strategic relations between Bahrain and the United States, focusing on strengthening cooperation to benefit mutual interests.



According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions between the two sides included regional developments, specifically efforts to maintain the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the provision of humanitarian aid in accordance with the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. The dialogue also touched upon initiatives aimed at promoting lasting peace, tolerance, coexistence, and regional stability. The exchange of views encompassed a variety of issues of common interest, reflecting the shared commitment to addressing regional challenges collaboratively.



Salman Hasan Al Jalahma, Chief of the Americas Affairs Sector, was present during the meeting, underscoring the importance of these strategic discussions in fostering robust bilateral relations.
