Foreign Minister Engages in Crucial Dialogue with Saudi Counterpart

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a telephone call from His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He also expressed the Kingdom's solidarity with the affected countries and its support for the measures they have taken to safeguard their sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of their citizens and residents.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the call covered the latest regional developments, particularly the continued Iranian attacks against GCC member states and other countries in the region. The dialogue also touched upon international efforts to preserve regional security and stability, safeguard freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and ongoing consultation and coordination in response to the escalating situation and its implications for regional security and stability.
