Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), chaired the board's third meeting for the 2024-2025 academic year, held via videoconference in the presence of board members.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister commended the Academy for its efforts to prepare and train diplomats and administrative staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He expressed appreciation for the board's role in supporting its training programmes and emphasized the importance of developing highly qualified diplomatic personnel.
Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Academy, thanked the board and the minister for their support. She reiterated the Academy's commitment to preparing diplomatic personnel capable of effectively representing Bahrain and promoting its values and interests on both regional and international levels.
The meeting reviewed the 2025 training statistics, upcoming training programmes, and language services, along with other items on the meeting's agenda.
