Foreign Minister Attends Egyptian Reception to Commemorate 74th Anniversary of July 23 Revolution

Manama: The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Bahrain hosted a reception marking the 74th anniversary of Egypt's July 23 Revolution, attended by senior Bahraini officials, diplomats, and invited guests.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, conveyed Bahrain's congratulations to Egypt's leadership, government, and people. He highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral ties and the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in advancing cooperation between the two countries.

Al Zayani praised Egypt's steadfast support for Bahrain and the GCC following the recent Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom. He described Egypt's position as a reflection of its commitment to Gulf security as an integral part of Arab national security.

He also commended the close coordination between Bahrain and Egypt on regional and international issues, particularly support for the Palestinian cause. He affirmed Egypt's pivotal role in promoting Arab stability and joint action.

Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud, Egypt's Ambassador to Bahrain, highlighted the longstanding ties between the two countries and expressed appreciation for Bahrain's continued support in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
