Foreign Minister and Tony Blair Discuss Middle East Peace Efforts in New York

New york: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Tony Blair, Executive Board Member of the Board of Peace, on the sidelines of their participation in the Security Council meetings in New York to discuss the situation in the Middle East - the Palestinian cause.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the efforts by the Board of Peace, chaired by His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States, to implement the Board of Peace's plan regarding the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. This plan aims to maintain the ceasefire, protect civilians, deliver relief aid, provide essential needs for the residents, and enhance recovery efforts. The discussion also included exchanging views on topics addressed by the Security Council concerning maintaining international peace and security.

The meeting was attended by several key figures including Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaiei, Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the UN; Saeed Abdulkhaliq Saeed, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Affairs Sector; Hatem Abdulhameed Hatem, Chief of the Organizations Sector, along with the Minister's accompanying delegation.
