Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of Choi Byung-sun, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Korea to Bahrain. The meeting underscored the strengthening of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister praised the progress in Bahrain-Korea relations across multiple sectors and highlighted the cooperation and partnerships that have been established. He expressed his hopes for the Ambassador's success in his new role, aiming to further enhance bilateral cooperation and serve the mutual interests of both nations.
Ambassador Choi Byung-sun, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the Foreign Minister. He acknowledged the ongoing support for the relationship between Bahrain and Korea and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation in alignment with the goals and aspirations of both countries.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations; Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shehab, Chief of Protocol; and Ambassador Mohammed Rashid Al Sowaidi, Acting Chief of Asia and Pacific Affairs.
