FM discusses draft document submitted by United Nations Office on Crime and Drugs in Libya.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation and Organizations, Omar Kuti, held a meeting with all ministry departments, to consult on the draft document submitted by the United Nations Office on Crime and Drugs in Libya.

The meeting reviewed the mechanism for implementing the document in line with the regional framework for Arab countries, the African Strategic Vision 2030, and the agreement to review the instruments and agreements ratified by Libya in this field, in addition to the terms of the strategy developed by the United Nations office and the mechanisms for its implementation with the relevant national authorities.

During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of these projects and their inclusion in the national strategies and priorities to combat crime and drugs in Libya.

The meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Social Affairs, the Solidarity Fund and the Office of the Attorney General, concluded that it is necessary to hold future meetings to discuss financial considerations, areas of cooperation and proposed national priorities.
