The Federal Police forces found mortar bombs, missiles and an explosive device in Samarra.
A statement by the Federal Police Command stated: “The units of the 4th Division of the Federal Police carried out a survey and search duty in the Qadiriya area and Alu Hassani area within the sector of responsibility in Samarra, during which war remnants were found (4 mortar bombs of different types, an Austrian missile, in addition to a homemade explosive device).
The statement added: “All materials were removed and destroyed on site by the engineering effort detachments.”
