According to Bahrain News Agency, the Finance Minister underscored Bahrain's accomplishments in healthcare, emphasizing the advanced system in place and the sector's ongoing success in solidifying the Kingdom's position as a leader in healthcare. Shaikh Salman highlighted the necessity of implementing strategies and initiatives aimed at further developing the sector, improving the quality and efficiency of medical services, and ensuring the sustainability of the healthcare system in alignment with national goals.
Furthermore, Shaikh Salman praised the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa towards the American Mission Hospital's various projects, such as the redevelopment of the original hospital site and the transformation of the former Women's and Children's Hospital building into a healthcare museum. He acknowledged the hospital's significant role and the dedication of its management and staff in maintaining high standards of medical services for both citizens and residents. The Minister expressed his hopes for the hospital's continued success in reaching its goals and contributing to the enhancement of Bahrain's healthcare services.
