Finance Minister Joins Session on Empowering Next-Generation Entrepreneurs at Gateway Gulf 2025


Manama: As part of the third edition of the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2025, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, held a dialogue session titled ‘Building a Legacy: Investing Across Generations and Geographies” with Lubna Suliman Al Olayan, Chair of the Corporate Board of the Olayan Group.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the session highlighted key milestones in the life and career of Lubna Al Olayan, focusing on the management of family businesses and leadership transitions across generations. Discussions also explored the evolving role of purpose-driven capital in empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs to support sustainable economic development in the region.



In her remarks, Al Olayan emphasised the importance of leveraging technology and artificial intelligence, noting that applying these tools to build and develop communities is both positive and productive. She underscored the importance of engaging youth in achieving developmental goals, highlighting their energy and drive to deliver results.



The session’s discussions further noted the role of future generations in developing family businesses, whose impact extends beyond driving economic growth to leading social initiatives that contribute to sustainable development.
