Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, said that the remarks delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the media reflect the sentiment of the Bahraini people and embody a firm national position that places the Kingdom’s interests, security, and stability above all, underscoring unity in confronting those who seek to undermine sovereignty or threaten national security. He noted that His Majesty’s anger reflects the sentiment of the Bahraini people.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted that His Majesty’s positions on the Iranian attacks demonstrate a clear national understanding that the attacks targeted not only the Kingdom’s security but also the wellbeing of its people, its development achievements, and future aspirations. He commended the Bahrain Defence Force and state institutions for their vigilance and dedication in safeguarding national gains and protecting the interests of the people.
The Minister said the attacks exposed those who aligned themselves with the enemy or failed to condemn or attempted to justify such acts, describing this as a grave act of treason. He stressed that all who benefit from the Kingdom’s achievements bear a national responsibility to protect it, defend its gains, and firmly confront any actions that threaten its security and stability.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa added that His Majesty’s remarks, with their clarity and firmness, represent a national reference point, reaffirming that Bahrain’s strength lies in the unity and solidarity of its people and their support for the leadership. He also highlighted the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which focus on advancing development, safeguarding national gains, and reinforcing stability and prosperity.
