Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, engaged in discussions with Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman emphasized the sector's crucial role in achieving Bahrain's development objectives, guided by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Minister highlighted the Central Bank's efforts in updating regulations, financial policies, and banking services to align with international standards and digital advancements.
Shaikh Salman also acknowledged Bahrain's strong standing as a leading financial hub both regionally and internationally. He praised the expertise and commitment of national professionals who contribute to the sector's success and enhance its impact on the national economy.
