Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, held a meeting with His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, during the latter's official visit to Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (EDB), and Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat).
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasized the robust relationship between Bahrain and Malaysia, noting the progress in their cooperation, especially in finance and the economy. He underscored the significance of leveraging these established foundations to expand collaboration that benefits both nations and their citizens.
The discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing relations and advancing partnerships in crucial sectors, reflecting both countries' commitment to strengthening economic ties and promoting broader cooperation.
