Finance and National Economy Minister hails Bahrain-Saudi ties

Finance and National and Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa hailed historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Receiving Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Chief Executive Officer Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, he commended steadily-growing cooperation across all fields.

The meeting was attended by Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al Hamer, Youth and Sports Minister Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayyed.

The minister hailed Saudi continuous support to vital development projects in Bahrain, which reflects solid relations binding the two brotherly countries and peoples.

He lauded the role of the fund in following up the implementation of the Saudi grant provided to the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the Gulf Development Programme, noting economic and social schemes which have a direct positive impact on citizens and contributing to spurring growth.

The two sides stressed the importance of the visit, highlighting aspects of joint cooperation and future development projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
