Manama: The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced the approval of the list of international referees and commissioners from the Kingdom of Bahrain, effective from September 1 for two years. The list includes five international referees: Mohammed Al Sallam, Adel Ghuloom, Sadeq Al Mashkhas, Bader Faraj, and Fatima Al Mutawaj, in addition to international commissioners Bader Al Anzoor and Eman Al-Thaqafi.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the list marks a new achievement for Bahraini basketball, as it has secured an additional seat among the international refereeing team, with the inclusion of referee Bader Faraj. This indicates the continued improvement of the refereeing system in the Kingdom.
