Manama: Dr. Ismail Lutfi Japaqiya, President of Fatoni University in Thailand, emphasized the significance of the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference held in Bahrain, which convened under the theme "One Nation, One Shared Destiny." He pointed out that the conference occurs at a crucial juncture when the Islamic community needs to focus on unity, reinforce shared values, and work collaboratively towards collective progress.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Japaqiya elaborated on the conference's role, organized by Al Azhar Al Sharif, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) in Bahrain, and the Muslim Council of Elders, as an essential initiative that gathers scholars, religious leaders, and intellectuals to promote Islamic unity and tackle common challenges.

Dr. Japaqiya also highlighted his ongoing efforts to foster unity within the Islamic community through academic contributions, notably his book "One Nation," published by Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. The book focuses on building cohesion, embracing diversity, and enhancing collective resilience against obstacles.

Expressing gratitude, Dr. Japaqiya commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for supporting the conference and acknowledged Bahrain's active role in hosting events that encourage peace, religious solidarity, and unity.

Dr. Japaqiya urged the Islamic community to adhere to the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while steering clear of divisive elements. He stressed that these principles align with the main objectives of the "One Nation, One Shared Destiny" conference.
