Rome: Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), received the credentials of Osama Abdullah Al Absi as Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the organisation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Qu Dongyu welcomed Al Absi and wished him success in his new role. Al Absi expressed his commitment to strengthening cooperation between Bahrain and FAO in key areas, including agriculture, fisheries, and food security.
