Families from Sudan fled to Umm Al-Araneb area in southern Libya.

A source affirmed to the correspondent of the Libyan News Agency in Al-Jufra that many Sudanese families had arrived in Umm Al-Araneb in the Southern area, fleeing the ongoing war there.

The source said that the families arrived in the area after a journey that lasted more than a month due to the ongoing fratricidal fighting in Sudan, including women, children, and youth, at a rate of five to four members per family.

It indicated that most of these families moved from one region to another in Sudan through Darfur, during which they traveled thousands of kilometers across the desert.

The same source expected that cases of displacement of Sudanese families to Libya would increase during the coming period.
