Manama: The Royal Endurance Team continued its strong performances on the European stage, achieving notable results at the Compi¨gne International Endurance Ride in France as part of its preparations for the upcoming World Endurance Championship. Fahad Helal Al Khatri secured first place in the 140-kilometre race after a strong performance against a competitive field of riders and horses from various countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Khatri maintained a consistent pace throughout the race stages to claim victory and add another international achievement to the Royal Endurance Team's record. The 140-kilometre race witnessed intense competition from the outset, with Al Khatri demonstrating strong race management and handling the challenges of the event to finish atop the standings.
In the 160-kilometre race, Mohammed Abdulhameed Al Hashemi finished third. UAE rider Majid Jamal Al Mheiri claimed first place, while Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei finished second.
The Royal Endurance Team's participation in the Compi¨gne International Endurance Ride forms part of its European season programme aimed at enhancing the technical and physical readiness of riders and horses ahead of major international competitions, foremost among them the World Endurance Championship. Al Khatri noted that the result reflected the team's continuous efforts and intensive preparations leading up to the competition.
