“Fael Khair” Initiative Resolves Financial Distress Cases During Ramadhan

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Director-General of the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, announced that the "Fael Khair" initiative has successfully resolved all financial distress cases during the holy month of Ramadhan. The initiative is recognized for its humanitarian contribution to the Kingdom of Bahrain, embodying values of solidarity and support for individuals facing financial challenges.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid highlighted that the initiative's success is rooted in Bahrain's humanitarian approach, strongly supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This backing has bolstered a giving culture, enabling impactful community engagements and delivering tangible benefits to those in need.

The "Fael Khair" initiative functions under the directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, aiming to alleviate financial burdens and enhance social cohesion. Since its inception in 2020, the initiative has exemplified how focused community efforts can transition from planning to significant outcomes, assisting individuals in distress to regain stability.

As of Ramadhan 28, 1447 AH, the initiative has settled 122 financial case files, benefiting 81 individuals with a total settlement value of BD311,705.368. Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid emphasized the initiative's impact, noting that the total donations since its launch have surpassed BD4,000,000. He expressed gratitude to all contributors, acknowledging their crucial role and the engagement of social media content creators in promoting the initiative.

The "Fael Khair" initiative stands as a model of effective humanitarian action, extending beyond financial aid to provide social benefits. Its completion of all cases demonstrates its success in achieving its goals and underscores the effectiveness of fostering solidarity and mutual support within Bahraini society.
