Manama: Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) will host the 6th World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF 2026), taking place on 10 - 11 February, for the first time.
According to Bahrain News Agency, building on the strong legacy of previous editions held in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024, WEIF 2026 will be hosted in EWB's state-of-the-art Grand Hall, Pre-Function Area, and multiple meeting rooms, spanning a total area of more than 3,200 square metres and offering an integrated environment for high-level dialogue, networking, and deal-making.
Facilitated by the General Secretariat at the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office in the Kingdom, WEIF 2026 is organised in partnership with the League of Arab States, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Bahrain, the Union of Arab Chambers, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce, alongside a wide network of local, regional, and international partners.
The forum is expected to attract around 800 participants from across the globe, including investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and business leaders. Discussions will centre on the theme "Achieving the SDGs through Empowering Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Mobilising Capital for Resilient Communities", with a strong focus on sustainable development, artificial intelligence, and green growth.
Ali Toorani, Director of Event Operations at EWB, said that welcoming the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum for the first time at EWB is a milestone that reflects the venue's growing role as a regional and international platform for impactful global dialogue. He noted that EWB is fully committed to offering a comprehensive, end-to-end support service model that ensures a seamless and successful event experience from initial planning to post-event breakdown. He added that EWB provides the ideal setting to fully equip organisers with the appropriate tools, enabling them to focus on content and engagement while EWB handles the execution of all logistical and operational aspects.
As Bahrain continues to strengthen its position as a hub for business, investment, and innovation, EWB's welcoming WEIF 2026 further underscores the venue's capability to support global forums that drive tangible outcomes and long-term development impact.
