Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce convened its third meeting of 2025, led by Abdulaziz Al Ashraaf, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry. The session focused on strategies to create an inclusive work environment, promote the advancement of Bahraini women, and improve gender balance, aligning with the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025-2026).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee also discussed preparations for the participation in the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award. Abdulaziz Al Ashraaf emphasized that the award mirrors Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka's vision and dedication to the progress of women across all sectors. The committee additionally considered methods to enhance the skills of its members and support ongoing institutional and administrative development.
