Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Information held its third meeting of the year, chaired by Abdullah Khalil Buhejji, Director General of Bahrain News Agency (BNA). The committee convened to discuss significant achievements and future goals aimed at supporting women's advancement within the ministry. According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee reviewed this year's accomplishments in promoting gender equality and increasing women's representation across various departments. Discussions included strategic plan goals for 2025-2026, which focus on ensuring gender parity and providing more opportunities for women to contribute to Bahrain's national media landscape. The committee highlighted the importance of equal opportunities in enhancing the roles of Bahraini women in media. It extended gratitude to Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi, Minister of Information, for his guidance and support in furthering the committee's initiatives.
