Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, participated in National Tree Week by planting trees at Dohat Arad Park and Reserve.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative supports Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035. This effort is a part of the Kingdom's broader vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, reflecting a commitment to environmental sustainability and climate responsibility.
