Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, welcomed Leyla Aliyeva, daughter of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during her visit to Bahrain for the MAMA 'Mother Nature' Art Exhibition. The meeting focused on environmental protection and potential cooperation between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included discussions on environmental issues, nature conservation, and collaboration opportunities between Bahrain and Azerbaijan. Attendees included Amina Hamad Al Rumaihi, Director of Communication and Environmental Awareness; Layla Ali Sabeel, Director of Climate Change and Sustainable Development; and Noor Al Sairafi, a member of the Bahrain Arts Society.
Dr. Bin Dainah provided an overview of the Supreme Council for Environment's key initiatives in addressing climate change and protecting the environment. He praised Leyla Aliyeva's dedication to environmental preservation and expressed interest in furthering cooperation with Azerbaijan.
