Emergency GCC-EU Ministerial Meeting Convenes to Address Iranian Aggression Against GCC States

Brussels: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, announced that the Emergency GCC-EU Ministerial Meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday. The meeting aims to unite the Foreign Ministers of the GCC states and the Foreign Ministers of the European Union member states.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, will participate in the meeting via video conference. This joint session is specifically organized to address the implications of Iranian aggression against the GCC states, along with the serious developments in the region and their negative repercussions.

Albudaiwi highlighted that the GCC is focused on using these joint meetings with regional and international partners to condemn Iranian attacks on civilians, infrastructure facilities, and diplomatic premises within the Council states. The aim is to urge the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to halt the war immediately, thereby promoting regional and international stability and security.
