Cairo: Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, inaugurated the fourth edition of the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2025), held at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Centre until December 4.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this year's exhibition witnesses a record participation of more than 450 leading global companies representing 50 countries, reinforcing EDEX's position as one of the foremost regional and international platforms in the fields of armament and defence and security industries.
Over the course of four days, the exhibition provides an integrated platform for showcasing the latest advanced defence technologies and systems, in addition to the exchange of technical and military expertise among relevant bodies and institutions from around the world, thereby enhancing international cooperation in this vital sector and contributing to supporting countries' capabilities in the fields of security and defence.
