New york: Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, met with Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, in New York to discuss regional developments and means to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries. According to Bahrain News Agency, a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that both sides exchanged assessments and views on a number of regional and international issues. The discussion also included efforts being made to reduce tensions and achieve stability in the region.
