Cairo: Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, engaged in a telephone discussion with Abdoulkader Houssein Omar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Djibouti, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and examining the latest regional developments.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the ongoing advancement of relations between Egypt and Djibouti. He noted a mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation in various sectors, with particular attention to economic, trade, and investment areas.
Dr. Abdelatty highlighted the significance of increasing the involvement of the private sector and Egyptian companies in supporting Djibouti's development initiatives. He pointed to opportunities for expanded cooperation, especially in the fields of new and renewable energy, construction, logistics zones, ports, and maritime connectivity.
