Manama: The Arab Republic of Egypt welcomed the statement issued by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, noting that it reflects Arab unity in confronting the attacks.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates reaffirmed its full solidarity with all Arab countries and its support for the legitimate measures they take to safeguard their security, stability, and sovereignty.
Egypt reiterated its categorical rejection and condemnation of any attacks targeting the sovereignty of Arab states, civilians, civilian facilities, and vital infrastructure, as well as any actions that threaten the security and freedom of international navigation. The statement underscored the importance of respecting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of states, refraining from the use or threat of force, and upholding the principles of good-neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs, in a manner that contributes to preserving regional and international peace and security.
