Manama: Egypt dispatched its 33rd humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip as part of the Egyptian Red Cross's "Zad El-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza" initiative. The convoy successfully crossed from the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing to the Karm Abu Salem terminal.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the humanitarian aid convoy carried thousands of tonnes of relief aid, including shelter supplies, food supplies, and medical supplies. The initiative was launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent on July 27 to support the people of Gaza, as part of Egyptian efforts to back the residents of the strip and to alleviate their suffering.
