Manama: The Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemned the Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, describing them as a flagrant violation of the two countries' sovereignty, a threat to their security and stability, and an unacceptable escalation that undermines efforts to consolidate calm and reduce tensions in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Egypt's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait and its full support for all measures undertaken by the two countries to safeguard their security and stability.
The ministry stressed the importance of adhering to the ongoing negotiation process and supporting serious efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region. It also called for resolving disputes through dialogue and peaceful means in a manner that contributes to strengthening regional security and stability.
