Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bahrain (UOB), along with Yousef bin Abdullah Al Benyan, Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia, visited the University of Bahrain campus to discuss collaborative academic initiatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit was also attended by Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain; Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU); and Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, President of UOB. The delegation was briefed on UOB's diverse colleges and the academic programmes currently offered, along with upcoming programmes aimed at aligning with emerging global specialisations.
Dr. Juma highlighted the robust academic, research, and scientific connections between universities in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, stressing the significance of joint scientific initiatives that could benefit both nations.
