Education Minister Visits Reopened Historic Schools in Muharraq

Muharraq: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, visited historic schools in Muharraq that have been reopened for the 2025-2026 academic year, to review their readiness and ensure the availability of all educational and administrative requirements.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit included Abdulrahman Al Nasser Secondary Boys' School (formerly Muharraq Maritime School) and Omar bin Al Khattab Intermediate Boys' School (formerly Northern Muharraq School). These schools have been reopened following maintenance, rehabilitation, and full furnishing works that preserved their architectural and historic character.

The Minister met with school principals and faculty members, toured classrooms and facilities, and reviewed orientation day activities carried out as part of the government school programme.
