Education Minister Reviews First-Grade Enrollment Procedures in Isa Town

Isa town: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, visited the ministry's activities centre in Isa Town to inspect assessment procedures for new students enrolling in the first grade of primary school for the 2026-2027 academic year. Dr. Juma reviewed the work of specialised committees responsible for receiving students and parents as part of registration procedures for new students in government schools for the upcoming academic year.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Education Minister affirmed the ministry's commitment to continuing to provide the service with high levels of efficiency and organisation. He also commended the efforts of the ministry staff supervising the service under the Schools Affairs Sector. Dr. Juma noted that assessment and registration procedures for new students form an essential part of preparations for the new academic year.

The Education Minister highlighted strong turnout from parents, with the number of applicants for first grade in government schools exceeding 10,000 students from across the Kingdom of Bahrain. Assessment procedures will continue until Monday, June 15, according to appointments booked in advance by parents through the application enquiry service available on the national portal, Bahrain.bh. The assessment interviews are considered an important step in supporting the provision of high-quality educational services for students.
