Manama: Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma took part in National Tree Week activities by planting trees at Arad Primary Boys School. This initiative is in accordance with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the tree-planting activity is part of Bahrain's national afforestation plan. This plan aims to double the number of trees in the Kingdom to 3.6 million by the year 2035. The initiative aligns with Bahrain's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, marking a significant step towards environmental sustainability.
