Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council Board of Trustees, recently engaged with a delegation from the Vatel France school, led by Karine Benzazon, CEO of Vatel Group in France. The meeting underscored the collaboration between the institutions, focusing on the development of hospitality education.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain, was also present during the meeting. Dr. Juma expressed his pride in hosting Vatel's Bahrain branch, highlighting its specialised academic programmes that bolster the hospitality sector. He also welcomed the prospect of expanding these specialised programmes in the future.
The visiting delegation conveyed their appreciation for the meeting and expressed eagerness to further cooperate with the Higher Education Council. They aim to enhance and expand Vatel's programmes, reinforcing their commitment to advancing educational opportunities in the field.
