Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, met with the 39 members of the student advisory committee, representing all public secondary schools, following their recent election by their peers. The meeting underscores a significant step towards engaging students in the decision-making processes that affect their educational environment.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister congratulated the students on their election and highlighted the ministry's commitment to supporting their role in planning final exam schedules, starting from the current semester. He emphasised that their ideas and suggestions would be taken into account to ensure they serve the interests of the students they represent.
Dr. Juma noted that the committee's work mechanism and communication with the relevant officials in the Schools Affairs sector would be coordinated. He assured the students that meeting schedules would be arranged in the near future, facilitating ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
