Earthquake of Magnitude 4.3 Strikes Southwestern Pakistan

Khuzdar: An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Balochistan region in southwestern Pakistan today.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Pakistan's Meteorological Department and Geological Survey reported that the epicentre was at a depth of 12 kilometres near the city of Khuzdar in Balochistan. Local authorities said no casualties or material damage were reported, noting that relevant agencies continue to monitor the situation in the affected areas.
